- suescraftstuff:- I try to put all sorts of things into order in a scrapbook. mainly family. I Started scrapbooking in 2009 and now am totally addicted. Just recently I started making a few cards, mainly for friends and family, I really enjoy doing this, but there is such a lot more to learn. currently I am learning to use promarkers, they're fantastic!!... I have a cricut cutting machine, but like to embellish with different mediums rather than just the cricut cutouts. I love lace and flowers, also distressing and embossing. This is just one of my many hobbies I've had over the years, a big part of it was woodcraft and painting. The woodcraft bit I got from my dad, him and my mum are my all time favourite people, my dad was so kind and clever, dad, I miss you, because of him I still dabble in the woodwork a bit too. But I am loving putting all my photo's into a scrapbook, and lately making cards, to keep and remember everone in a much more interesting way than a normal photo album .hopefully it will be passed on in later years.

Trafalgar Square
A Day trip to Trafalgar Square when my son was small, we had a great day sightseeing and feeding the pigeons, even though they landed all over us.

Life begins at 40
Some of the things I wanted do at the age of 40. Learn to ride horses, play an instrument, join a band, do something daring like fly in a Microlite. I did these things and am proud of myself for doing them, there were a lot more things wanted to do, like go to the Greek islands, we did this later on in my life, but I did it anyway.

This is a photo of my brother, he was messing around on photoshop I think, he's always fancied himself as a cowboy, I think he suites this motley crew, (he's the one on the end-right)
A Dog's 10 pet peeves about humans
Blaming your toots on me. Not funny, not very funny at all
Yelling at me for barking, I’m a dog !! You idiot!!
Taking me for a walk, then not letting me sniff stuff out. Exactly who’s walk is it anyway? Huh?
Any trick that involves balancing stuff on my nose. Stop it!
Any haircut that involves pink bows or ribbons.... Now you know why I chew your stuff when you’re out!
Hiding my favourite toy, so it’s not all it used to be, and it smells. But it’s MINE...leave it !!!
Taking me to the vet to be ‘seen to’ then acting surprised when I freak out every time we go back there.
Getting upset when I sniff your friends privates, sorry but I haven’t mastered the handshake thing yet!!
Dog coats, sweaters.... Haven’t you noticed I’ve got fur??How you act disgusted when I lick myself. Look, we both know the truth - you’re just jealous.

A dog's 10 pet peeves
A dog's 10 pet peeves about humans, I found this LO in Becky Fleck's book, Page Maps. I altered it to suit my own dog and altered a few little peeves that she has.
IF
This LO was an idea I got from Becky Fleck's Page Maps book, I have used several of her ideas, you can adapt them to your own, a wonderful book and packed with inspiration. If ..... it's such a strong word, it brings to mind so many questions, what if??? I decided to put some of my 'if's' onto this LO just to remind me what if ..................

I've been making tags today, got some ideas from Becky Fleck's 'Page Maps' blog, she also has a few tag maps. These are great pages if you need a little inspiration sometimes. I have her book of Page maps and it's helped me enormously, especially when I first started to do scrapbooking.

Mums Garden
This is my Mums garden, she is 89yrs old and still manages to keep her garden looking lovely, although this year she is finding it more hard work than usual. To me it is the epitome of an English Country garden. the name of the house is 'The Cottage' . I've lived here for a while, spent a lot of weekends here and seen my father's last days here. This cottage holds and will always hold lots of lovely memories for me.

Amy
This is my daughter Amy, this photo was taken in her hometown of Littleport, Nr.Ely in Cambridgeshire in 2010. I used several svg files from Penny Duncan's blog (Thank you so much, Penny, for all your freebies) the flourishes and the flowers and the name tag were all produced by Penny.

Starting young!
2010, Christmas, Myself and my grandson Harvey, making a 'card' for mummy. We used 2 types of glitter glue, some glass shapes, lots of sticky tape and some glitter dust. Harvey had great fun, he then went on to make another card for his little brother Zac. I Love it when I can play with him, especially teaching him to be 'crafty' even if it did take me a few hours to tidy up!! lol
This LO was done using two of my new Martha Stewart punches, I just love these, they cut so perfectly. the flowers are prima.
