SUESCRAFTSTUFF

Susie's Scrapblog

My photo
United Kingdom
suescraftstuff:- I try to put all sorts of things into order in a scrapbook. mainly family. I Started scrapbooking in 2009 and now am totally addicted. Just recently I started making a few cards, mainly for friends and family, I really enjoy doing this, but there is such a lot more to learn. currently I am learning to use promarkers, they're fantastic!!... I have a cricut cutting machine, but like to embellish with different mediums rather than just the cricut cutouts. I love lace and flowers, also distressing and embossing. This is just one of my many hobbies I've had over the years, a big part of it was woodcraft and painting. The woodcraft bit I got from my dad, him and my mum are my all time favourite people, my dad was so kind and clever, dad, I miss you, because of him I still dabble in the woodwork a bit too. But I am loving putting all my photo's into a scrapbook, and lately making cards, to keep and remember everone in a much more interesting way than a normal photo album .hopefully it will be passed on in later years.

Vintage style page

This is a vintage style Layout of my mum when she was about my age. this is a passport photo of her when she and my dad went off to visit my brother in Australia in the early 80's.
I used Vintage pp's and all the rest was from my stash, I'm trying to use up all of my odd pieces, I have so much and so many tiny bits.

March 2012

Two Layouts, both using my new Vintage paperstack. All the embellishments are my own stash. The top Layout is of our local park the morning after it snowed. Enchanting!
The bottom Layout is Just me! (and some of the things that make up me!)

Growing up

Two Layouts of my grandchildren. the top one is Eloise growing up so fast, the pp is a new batch I purchased from the Range, The Antique collection. all embellishments were from my own stash.
The bottom one is of my two grandsons, Harvey and Zachary. this was also done on the antique collection pp, with stars cut from The cricut - george.   I can't believe they're all getting so grown up now, 3yrs 2m, 2yrs 2m, ad 1 yr 3m, soon I'll be scrapping their teenage years :(

Easter Baskets

Three Easter Baskets, all ready to fill for the grandchildren. I made these from ordinary double-sided scrapbook printed paper, 9" x 9" divided into 3" squares, rounded off 8 corners and fixed the sides with a brad and flower, 1" handle, and hey presto! a basket. made for next to nothing, I'm going to fill with shredded tissue paper and easter goodies.
