- suescraftstuff:- I try to put all sorts of things into order in a scrapbook. mainly family. I Started scrapbooking in 2009 and now am totally addicted. Just recently I started making a few cards, mainly for friends and family, I really enjoy doing this, but there is such a lot more to learn. currently I am learning to use promarkers, they're fantastic!!... I have a cricut cutting machine, but like to embellish with different mediums rather than just the cricut cutouts. I love lace and flowers, also distressing and embossing. This is just one of my many hobbies I've had over the years, a big part of it was woodcraft and painting. The woodcraft bit I got from my dad, him and my mum are my all time favourite people, my dad was so kind and clever, dad, I miss you, because of him I still dabble in the woodwork a bit too. But I am loving putting all my photo's into a scrapbook, and lately making cards, to keep and remember everone in a much more interesting way than a normal photo album .hopefully it will be passed on in later years.

Eloise with Nanny Glitter and Jaz
I spent a wonderful day with my daughter Amy and her daughter Eloise, we had lots of cuddles and fun with Jaz, who was protecting her like she was one of her own. Such a sweet dog. In the first picture Eloise is just chillin' with a book before nap time. then cuddling on Nannys lap, below Jaz is just guarding her puppy!!

cards
A couple of cards I made today, Ella Blue pp stack for the top one, and die cuts with a view Alphabet glitter stack for the b/w card.
The roses on the top one I made by rolling up a piece of pp lightly, taping the end to form a loose roll the squashing it flat with my fist!!! brutal, I know, but it seems to work.the leaves can be made by tearing leaf shapes or I've used silk leaves from another flower.

Anna's Goodbye
During my years as a medical receptionist we had several young people come and work with us during their holidays, some were sons and daughters of the doctors, Anna came to help us during 2005, and was the daughter of our head Nurse Fiona. Anna was such a sweet girl, always helpful and kind, we enjoyed having her around, especially at tea and coffee breaks, she would always volunteer to make our cuppas, we all had our likes and dislikes and Anna, on leaving, left us this little drawing and note to say goodbye and I suppose this is how she will remember us. During those years we had lost three of our lovely ladies, Gina, Joyce and Audrey .RIP ladies. we miss you.

Jaz February 2011
Our little Jack Rusell, Jaz. Making the best of the little bit of sunshine we had this morning. I'd washed her paws and tummy after our walk, she was a bit shivery so I wrapped her blanket around her neck, she didn't mind at all, she sat there for ages sunning herself and looking adorable.
